Utility Room
This project was a full bespoke utility room replacement. The utility room features one double sized cabinet below the sink, three standard sized cabinets, an integrated dishwasher door, a set of open shelves, and a cabinet to house the mains water inlet and water conditioner. The cabinets sit on a reinforced support to accommodate the undulating original limestone floor which once belonged to a 19th Century stable, and drops 150mm (6”) from right to left. The plinth is fully scribed to avoid gaps between the cabinets and the floor.
The tulipwood cabinet doors are in a traditional shaker style, and are hand painted in Dulux Noble Grey diamond eggshell with a matching face frame. The interiors are hand painted in Neptune Driftwood eggshell. The solid oak worktop and upstand are finished with Osmo TopOil White to add both warmth and protection from spills.
