For this project, a series of solid oak windowsills were made to replace existing windowsills in the client’s home that were not in a suitable state for restoration. For each piece, the exact shape and thickness was replicated to ensure a like-for-like replacement.

After providing the client samples of the oak used with a number of different finishes, these windowsills were finished with Osmo PolyX Clear Semi-Matt to ensure the closest possible match to the existing, enhancing the wood’s natural colour, and providing a resistance to damp and condensation.
